Roberto headed to the car nervously and threw his belongings inside.He was anxious about the upcoming camping trip，which was his family's first visit to a California mountain range called the Sierra Nevada.His parents and several other neighborhood families had organized the trip.Some of the families had camped before，but for the Ortiz family，it was a new experience.

"I hope you're right，" Roberto responded nervously.
Mama looked puzzled. "Why do you say that？" Roberto explained，"I'm worried that camping might be very difficult.The Sierra Nevada is high up，and I read that it can get very cold there at night.My friends told me thunderstorms often happen in the afternoon without warning，" Roberto added. "Worst of all，our neighbors told me that last year they spotted a big brown bear crawling near their tents.It didn't attack them，but you never know what a wild animal might do in the woods. Three hours later，the four cars arrived at the campsite.Then one of the neighbors，Mr.Davis，who had been camping many times，began to tell people what to do next.
