   With the Double Ninth Festival falling on October 4，2022，our school will organize volunteers to accompany the elderly at the nursing home on the day.
    After we get there by bus in the morning，we are going to visit the elderly in their rooms in groups，presenting them with flowers and self-made cards to show our respect and love.In addition，some cleaning and washing for them will be done with the help of the nurses.As we think some old people feel lonely，we are to chat with them about their old days，changes of our city，as well as the things they were interested in.
    The elderly are the wealth of the society.Had it not been for their labor，we wouldn't enjoy our happy life and a harmonious society.Thus，respecting，loving and supporting the elderly is the right thing to do.
