The best teacher I have ever had was my eighth grade maths teacher, Mr. Herr. He was cool and he was a good painter. Mr. Herr always came into the classroom with a smile. Each lesson of his was interesting and full of surprises. He knew how to ask questions to make us think. I think it was the first time I was made to think in junior school. I had hated maths, but he made me love it! He was good at talking and I could always understand what he was trying to teach.
Mr. Herr was really young so he acted(表現(xiàn)得) like us, and this made our learning fun. He also listened to us and was always ready with a kind word.He would always do something funny to make us laugh. He made every student feel easy and happy in his classes. We thought he was a person who really understood us.
It was a great time to be with Mr. Herr. He has moved to Switzerland. The last thing I got from him was a CD that he made for me. He is the best person and the best teacher I know. I will miss him forever.
