   Scott heard that his father，his grandfather，his great-grandfather all walked on water on their 18th birthday.Scott was very surprised and he wanted to have a try，too.

   Scott and Philip got to the river and they got into their boat then began to row.When they got to the middle of the river，Scott walked off the side of the boat.But he couldn't walk on the water when he tried.He fell into the water and almost got killed.
   Angry and a little embarrassed，he and Philip went back home.Scott's grandmother saw them and asked why Scott was all wet.Scott told his grandmother the whole story.
   "Grandma，why can't I walk on the water like my father，my grandfather and his father before him？" Scott asked the old woman in a low voice.
   The sweet old lady took Scott by the hand，looked into his eyes，and said， "That's because your father，your grandfather，your great-grandfather were born in January.But my boy，you were born in July now."
