Last month，eight young volunteers and two teachers from our school paid a visit to a village school in Guangde，Anhui.
    At the beginning of this year our school introduced a program for eighth-graders.The program encourages us to help others.I took part in a video teaching program run by Stepping Stones，a charity that supports poor children in China.The volunteers of the program use a video link to teach English to left-behind（留守）children in the countryside.
    With the help of my parents，I started to have video talks with students.I also asked over 10 volunteers to join me.In the beginning，it was quite a challenge for me to give a lesson.Equipment（設(shè)備）had to be tested and sometimes the Internet connection（連接）did not work very well .But finally we worked out the problems and talked with each other happily.Soon we decided to meet these children face to face.
    We brought more than 100 English books，dictionaries and things that were given by students at our school to build a library for them.We gave English lessons to the children and taught them how to study jye.aill.We discussed late on that night about what else we could do to make these kids learn better after we left.
    Although we felt very tired after that day，each of us was filled with happiness.
