One morning，a young man rode a horse which carried lots of carrots and went to sell tjye.aim.He went there for the first time， （1） 所以他不確定會花多長時間到達。He saw an old man on his way and asked him about it.The old man saw the carrots were packed （包裹） carelessly and said， "It's hard to say.If you ride slowly，you can reach your place in three hours. （2） If you ride faster，you will arrive no sooner than this evening!" The young man was surprised at the words of the old man.It sounded very strange. （3） But he was in a hurry to get to the market，so he rushed the horse to run faster. As he rushed the horse，the carrots started to fall off the bag. （4）這個年輕人不得不時不時停下馬去撿胡蘿卜。Again，he hurried his horse and went on.Again，some more carrots fell down.He repeated the same all the way.Also，some carrots were even lost.The young man felt worried and sad.Then it was getting darker and darker. （5） The young man tried to make the lost time，however，he didn't make it. When the young man got to the market，it was almost midnight.
    In the end，the young man understood the real meaning of the words told by the old man!
