Six hours of walking in space! On August 20,2021,Chinese astronauts Liu Boming and Nie Haisheng did the second spacewalk of the Shenzhou XII task after the seven-hour spacewalk by Liu Boming and Tang Hongbo on July4,2021.They set up things they need outside the Tiangong space station.
Space walks are dangerous. There is no air in space,of course. And it's filled with radiation(輻射)which is bad for people. But the spacesuits, although they are large and difficult to carry, can protect astronauts.A spacesuit is like a small space station. It has everything astronauts need when they have a spacewalk. For example,China's Feitian spacesuits have six layers(層).The innermost(最里面的)layer collects astronauts' urine(尿液).Then there are four layers that help control the temperature and air pressure inside the suit.Spacesuits are filled with air,so they look like they're puffed up.The sixth layer is made of special fibers(纖維)that protect astronauts from radiation.
Astronauts are connected to the space station with safety ropes while walking in space. The suit has headphones and speakers for astronauts to communicate. There is also a mirror on the wrist(手腕).Astronauts can check their suits by looking at it.
The first Feitian suit was made in2008.Zhai Zhigang wore it to carry out China's first spacewalk for about19 minutes. The suits Chinese astronauts wear today are the second generation(代)of Feitian. It can support walks as long as eight hours and can be used more often. The first generation could only be used five times within two years, while the second generation can be used15 times within three years. Each suit costs around30 million yuan and it takes four months to make just one!

1.According to a recent report, about 15% of the people in the UK are members of gyms. But are they more likely to be fit?
A study found that gym members were 14 times more active than people who didn't belong to any health club.Gym members did six hours more exercise a week, and this activity did make them fitter than non- gym members. They also spent less time sitting down every day than non- gym members. The results were the same for men and women.
The study included 405 people between the ages of 30 and 64,and the main characteristics of those who were gym members were the same as those who were not. "But gym members did more training than non-gym members," said the lead author,Elizabeth Schroeder of the University of Illinois. While it might seem clear that gym members exercise more and are healthier than non-gym members,Schroeder says this has not been directly shown before. However, the study is only designed to show a tie between gym membership and more exercise. It may be that active people like to join gyms.In the study, people who exercised as much as gym members were also in good health.
You can get the same benefits wherever you exercise. This study shows a gym membership can make you do more exercise, but other research shows that exercising outside has other help.Outdoor activity can make you feel happy about life, especially if you run through a forest.
Outdoor exercise is also more interesting than going to the gym.The first five minutes of outdoor exercise is especially helpful in making people feel good. But Schroeder says that a gym may also encourage greater exercise because it can be social and fun.

2.Is it possible to have a diet that s both healthy and friendly to our planet? Here are answers to your eco-friendly food questions.
Does what I eat influence climate change?
Yes.The world's food system is responsible for about one quarter of the planet -- warming greenhouse gases that humans produce each year. That includes raising and harvesting all the plants, animals, and animal products we eat,as well as processing, packaging, and shipping food to markets all over the world.
Which foods have the largest influence?
In general, beef and lamb have the biggest climate footprint per gram of protein while plant- based foods like beans, rice, corn and wheat have the smallest influence.Pork, chicken, eggs are somewhere in the middle.
Is there a simple food choice I can make?
Studies have shown that people who eat a meat-heavy diet can reduce their food- related footprint by one third or more by moving to a vegan diet- no meat, dairy,or eggs.If you don't want to go that far, just eat less meat.
Can I really make a difference to our planet
We need more food to feed the world's growing population. One person alone can make only a tiny djye.aiference.If many people make changes to their diets, that will start to add up.It will make a greater difference if the world's heaviest meat eaters make some changes to their diets.
