Once upon a time a daughter complained（抱怨） to her father that her life was terrible and that she was tired of fighting.It seemed just as one problem was solved，another one soon followed.
    Her father said nothing and took her to the kitcjye.ain.He filled three pots with water and placed each on the fire.Once the three pots began to boil，he placed potatoes in one pot，eggs in the second pot and coffee beans（咖啡豆） in the third pot.Having no idea of what was going on，the daughter had no patience and simply waited.After twenty minutes，the father took the potatoes，eggs and coffee beans out into the bowls.Turning to his daughter，he asked."Dear，what do you see？"
    "Potatoes，eggs and coffee，"she replied.
    "Look closer，"he said，"and touch the potatoes."She did and noted that they were soft.He then asked her to take an egg and break it.After pulling off the shell（外殼），she saw the hard-boiled egg.Finally，he asked her to drink the coffee.Its rich smell and taste brought a smile to her face.
    "Father，what does this mean？"she asked.
    He then explained that the potatoes，the eggs and coffee beans had each faced the same situation-the boiling water.However，each one reacted differently.The potato was strong and hard，but in the boiling water，it became soft and weak.The egg was fragile（脆弱的） before it was put in the boiling water.But after that，its inside became hard.However，the coffee beans were the most special.After they were added to the boiling water，they changed the water and created something nice.
    "Which one are you？"he asked his daughter.
    In life，things happen around us，but the only thing that truly matters is how you choose to react to it.Life is all about learning，getting used to it and turning all the challenges that we experience into something good.Are you a potato，an egg，or a coffee bean？
