發(fā)布:2024/5/23 20:38:36組卷:2引用:1難度:0.92817.There are two things that make humans different from animals. One is language and the other is music. It cannot be denied that some animals can sing, but the songs of animals such as bids are limited.Besides,it's humans, not animals that have developed musical instruments.
Surely enough, music is different from language. However, people can use music to communicate things—especially their feelings. When combined with the speech in a song, music is a very powerful means of communication.
According to a scientific study, people process music and language in different parts of the brain.A good example is Vissation Shebalin,a Russian composer, who had a stroke(中風(fēng))in 1953.The left side of his brain was injured. As a result,he could no longer speak or understand speech. He could however, still compose music until his death ten years later. On the other hand, sometimes strokes cause people to lose their musical ability, but they can still speak and understand speech.
Then why does music have such a strong impact on people both physically and emotionally? That's a harder question to answer.Geoffery Willer,a researcher at University College,London, argues that music and love have a strong connection.Music needs special talent, practice and physical ability. For example, playing a musical instrument requires fine muscular control. You also need a good memory to remember the notes.Playing those notes correctly suggests that your hearing is in excellent condition. Finally, when a man sings to the woman he loves,it may be a way of showing off.
However,Miller's theory still doesn't explain our question of why certain combinations of sounds.influence our emotions so deeply.Obviously, this is an area that needs further research for scientists.

They don't hit the pause button.
(1)
They leave behind a tidy house.
Monday can be very busy,so it is likely to leave things laying around the house or those dirty dishes in the sink all day. However, there's an even bigger possibility you won't want to take care of any of that stuff when you get home,either.(2)
They make a to-do list.
To-do lists are great. They keep you on track and make you responsible for getting all of the work done.Make one on your computer, one on your phone, one on a sticky note on your desk.So you'll know what you need to get done and in what order.(3)
(4)
It's hard to concentrate.(5)
A.Everyone loves the button.
B.Clean up after yourself.
C.They attend to small things first.
D.Remember to cross things off the list they get done.
E.They focus on the task at hand.
F.That way, you'll be ready to face the day more quickly.
G.So rid your work space of anything that may cause you to be less concentrated.發(fā)布:2024/5/23 20:38:36組卷:8引用:1難度:0.5
