43.In the modern world, people have to remember passwords(密碼) for everything from their email,to online banking and internet shopping. So it's easy to understand that many of us would pick something simple and easy for our passwords.
A leaked(泄露的) Yahoo database showed that the most popular passwords are still "123456" and "password".Easy ones like "qwerty"and "abc123"are also among the top 10,reported the Daily Mail.
Other top passwords include"welcome","sunshine"and"ninja".Many more used simple combination (組合) of their name, age,or birthday.
These people are trying to make life easy for themselves. But they are also making it easy for hackers(8客) to break into their accounts, experts warned.
Researchers from UK's Lancaster University,as well as Peking and Fujian Normal universities in China did a test on passwords They tried to guess passwords based on people's different personal information.
They guessed passwords for more than 73 percent of ordinary users' accounts.Hackers could even brea a third of the harder passwords in 100 guesses, reported the Daily Mail.
So how can you make your passwords safer?Researchers from Bloomberg Businessweek have some tip for you.
Upper-casing(大寫(xiě)) your password is a good start.Adding numbers and/or symbols to your password can also be of great help.A nine-letter password that includes numbers and/or symbols is also a good choice as this would take a hacker's computer hundreds of years to break!
Never use personal information as a password.Use different passwords for different accounts(賬戶.Experts suggest that a user should change their password every 90 days to keep hackers guessing.Password(1) The reason to pick
