18．Monica grew up under the care of her grandparents.She missed them very much after their passjye.aig.In summer vacation，Monica joined a caregiving organization because she didn't want to feel lonely and she loved taking care of older people.
One day Monica was asked to look after an old man called Charles for a month.Old Charlies had Alzheimer's disease（老年癡呆癥）and some involuntary muscle reflex（不自主肌肉反射）.When Monica arrived at her destination，she smiled and told old Charlies that she would be taking care of all the household chores（雜務）.Old Charles was delighted and invited her to tour the house.
In the man's room，several old photographs hung on the bedroom walls.As she studied each one，she accidently saw a picture in which a young Charles was playing the piano in a large concert hall. "Was he a musician or something？" Monica hurried downstairs to find out more.But to her amazement，Charles couldn't recognize her.
Realizing he was in a serious condition of Alzheimer's，Monica turned to her friend Janice for help，who suggested experimenting with muscle memory on him.
The next day，Janice carried a piano to Charles's room secretly.When Monica cleaned the living room，Charles went upstairs.He had no idea about the piano in his room.
