  • 9.World No Tobacco (煙草) Day:Protect Our Youth World No Tobacco Day falls on May 31st each year.It was started by the World Health Organization (WHO) in 1988 to let more people know the harmful effects of smoking.
        Two national smoking surveys,made by the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention among junior high school students in 2014 and 2019,showed that cigarette(香煙) smokers were 2% fewer over the past five years.However,e-cigarettes have become more popular:the number of students who knew about e-cigarettes was 24.9% higher and e-cigarette smokers rose from 1.2% to 2.7%.
