Kangaroos have very strong back legs and large feet，and they move by jumping.They can jump up to 70 kilometers an hour.
Another interesting thing about kangaroos is that they are strong swimmers.If they feel endangered，they will move into water.They think it's safe there.
Kangaroos are herbivores.This means their food comes from plants，such as grass and tree leaves.Kangaroos get much of the water they need from what they eat，which means they can go for long periods of time without drinking water.Kangaroos usually spend the days resting and the cool evenings，nights and mornings moving around and eating.
