• 13．The Dragon Boat Festival，also known as Duanwu Festival，has nearly 30 "nicknames（昵稱）" because of its different stories and customs across the country.
     Unlike other holidays which are usually greeted with the word "happy"，such as "Happy New Year，" the Dragon Boat Festival is not suitable for this usage.Why？Because traditionally，the day has been thought of as an "unlucky" day.The Dragon Boat Festival falls on the fifth day of the fifth month on the Chinese lunar calendar，the beginning of summer season.During hot weather，people can easily fall ill and diseases can spread.It makes the day look unlucky，so people in ancient China regarded it as an important time to prevent diseases.
