  • 2.I'm on the road a lot for my job and have seen in lots of accidents.
     One day,I was heading to a far-away jye.aiwn.To get there,I had to take a busy road that had a lot of blind curves (彎道)and hills.I made my way around a curve and down a hill when I saw a car in my lane (車道)suddenly move into the other lane.It caused the cars in the other lane to slam(猛踩)their brakes (剎車).In return,the cars behind them slammed their brakes as well.Still,some of the cars hit each other and caused accidents on the road.
     After a while,things were almost cleaned up.All the cars drove away.Still,I saw a big rock lying in the road.I thought I'd move it to stop similar accidents from happening again.
     And just as I got out of my car to pick it up,I saw a guy on the other side of the road running along the highway (公路)to pick up the same rock.I watched him put it in the bed of his truck (卡車).The rock wasn't in his lane and he still picked it up.
     I guess it was just nice to see someone else go out of their way to do something for other people,knowing he wouldn't get a thank you.
