19．The sun was intense that lazy Saturday afternoon when my husband and I wandered-in the shopping center.As we walked by a pet store，we noticed there- was an adoption event underway.But with no intention of adopting，we kept walking.
A few minutes had passed when my husband suddenly said， "Want to get a eat？ "I looked.jye.ai him to see if he was serious，and sensing that he was，I replied with an enthusiastic "Yes".
We quickly went back to the adoption-event and greeted the rescue volunteer，who-was；surrounded by cats of all sizes and colors.We stared at the kittens inside the crates（板條箱）in one crate，three adorable gray-and-white kittens stared back at us.But in the back of that rate，a lonely orange-and-white kitten stood out.
He reminded me of the orange-and-white cat from my childhood.A few minutes later，we were a party of three.We left the store with a box full of food，toys and all the necessary supplies needed to welcome our new family member.
Sneezer was the first pet we adopted while we were living in a rented apartment.Soon we ought our first house.As we settled in our new house，I wanted to make him feel at home.sneezer，sleeping in front of the fireplace，certainly added a homey atmosphere.Maybe，a piano could also add some hominess，I thought.Luckily，we got a piano at a reasonable price，and music came into our home.
There was just one problem：Years had passed since I had touched a piano.I had forgotten a lot，and it was necessary to start at the beginner's level and re-learn the basics.I 'as discouraged by this until one day when Sneezer jumped up on the piano bench beside me ad began to purr（嗚嗚叫）.I took this as a sign of encouragement and pressed on.
