19．Letting go of Ginger Feeding the stray cats（流浪貓） in my neighborhood used to be part of my daily routine.I did it out of compassion（同情） and love for animals.
When I went home from school，I usually found several stray cats in the community.They had sharp ears，thin bodies and long tails.They couldn't help but surround the garbage can and pick out the garbage to eat.When their noses smelled the fragrance of the snacks in my hands，they stood in front of me pitifully，as if they wanted to ask me for something to eat.When I saw that they were pitiful，I gave them one of the snacks.When they were full，they would wag their tails contentedly，as if to thank me.
But last month，my favorite cat named Ginger entered a new stage of life：she gave birth to a litter of cute kitties!Thrilled and excited，I bought them a brand-new cat nest，food bowls and even a large pack of cat food so that Ginger could take care of her babies with a full stomach.I place the whole package of love and care behind the bushes so that they'd be safe and sound.
However，a few days later I found out that what I bought for Ginger was gone!I started looking for Ginger and her nest right away.To my surprise，a property（物業(yè)）manager showed up and told me something that was rather shocking and unacceptable.
